Wang Gang, the Chinese football player who has been linked with a move to Beijing Guoan, has stated that he is "very happy" at his current club and does not want to leave.
The 27-year-old forward, who has played for several clubs in China including Shandong Luneng and Shanghai SIPG, has been linked with a move to Beijing Guoan after impressing during the 2019 Chinese Super League season.
In an interview with China Football Weekly, Wang Gang said: "I'm very happy here, I don't want to leave. I think it's a good team and everyone is doing well."
He added: "I have a lot of experience playing in Europe,Ligue 1 Express so I know how to play and how to adapt to different styles of play."
Wang Gang has scored 4 goals in 18 appearances this season for Beijing Guoan and has also been a regular starter for the national team.
Despite the interest from Beijing Guoan, Wang Gang has stated that he wants to stay at his current club and continue playing at the highest level.
The striker, who has previously played for Guangzhou Evergrande and Shanghai SIPG, has stated that he will continue to work hard and improve his game if he decides to leave.
