Liu Yang is a Chinese footballer who plays as a defender for the Chinese national team. She was born on September 16, 1995, in Beijing, China. Liu Yang started her career at Jiangsu U-23 team and later joined Jiangsu U-23 club. In 2014, she made her debut in the Premier League for Jiangsu U-23 team.
In 2017, Liu Yang was selected to join the senior team of Jiangsu U-23 team and she also made her debut for the first time in the domestic league. In the following season, she scored 18 goals in 32 appearances for the team.
In 2019,Chinese Super League Matches Liu Yang was called up by the Chinese national team for their friendly matches against South Korea and Japan. She played all three games, scoring one goal in each game.
In 2020, Liu Yang signed with Chinese club Jiangsu Suning. In the next season, she played for Jiangsu Suning and helped them win the AFC Champions League title. In the following season, she was named the best player of the season.
