Liu Yang is a Chinese footballer who plays as a defender for the Chinese national team. She was born on September 16, 1995, in Beijing, China. Liu Yang started her career at Jiangsu U-23 team and later joined Jiangsu U-23 club. In 2014, she made her debut in the Premier League for Jiangsu U-23 team.

In 2017, Liu Yang was selected to join the senior team of Jiangsu U-23 team and she also made her debut for the first time in the domestic league. In the following season, she scored 18 goals in 32 appearances for the team.
